What is Awana?

Kids represent the greatest opportunity to make a long-term impact on our world for Christ. Offered right here at Villa Baptist Church, Awana reaches kids where they’re at and walks alongside them in their faith journey. Those kids who come to faith at an early age discover God’s purpose for their lives and hope for the future. Ministry leaders and parents witness the profound impact Awana has in reaching kids with the gospel and watching them grow as long-term disciples. 
Awana reaches kids for Christ through fun, Scripture-rich experiences that lead them to know, love and serve Him.

What do kids do at Awana?

Through Awana at Villa Baptist Church, your kids will have an opportunity to grow in Christ by taking part in the following activities:

Memorize the Bible

At the heart of the Awana program, is the Word of God. During their time with Awana, your kids will learn to memorize, understand, and apply the truths found in the Bible with fun, age-appropriate methods and curriculum. 

Play Games

Learning about Christ is fun. Each night of Awana makes time for your child to run, play, and engage other kids in their age group with safe, organized games that have been proven to make memories and friends that last for years to come. 

Grow Together

God has created us to live and grow with one another. That's why at Awana, your kids will be in classes suited tailored to their age group, allowing them not only age-appropriate materials that help them learn, but also affording them many opportunities to
​make new friends along the way.
